We visited him once a few months back, he's fully bonded to his new fam and forgot all about us. Well, not really. He still was friendly with us.

It's great you found him such a wonderful home.
Yeah, my place was a step up from his original home, then he was with me for 6 or 7 months and when I realized I couldn't handle a dog like him (very needy, but sweet), I found him the ultimate place for him.
