(The Guardian) In other news, Notts County have comically denied that mega pop star Taylor Swift is set to buy the League Two club. Kudos to the admin for this belter of a statement. What other songs could they have crammed in here?
Notts county face Wrexham tomorrow, who are of course owned by Hollywood royalty Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney. Today’s statement puts an end to hopes a ridiculous episode of “Welcome to Wrexham” is on its way.
I don't find it slow at all... even though very few goals are scored in each game, the possibility of a goal always exists, and if it does happen, then it'll: a) often come out of nowhere, and b) completely change the course of the game. Thus, unless one team is leading 5-0 or something, there's very little 'down time' where we know nothing of consequence is going to happen.
