Somebody forgot to tell the guy in blue "don't start celebrating until AFTER you cross the line". He only won by a fraction of an inch in the photo finish.

NBC has proven they are still NBC no matter who owns the network.

They are still focusing on tearjerker stories and prying in to the personal lives of the athletes. No personal tragedy or private pain is off limits and nothing is out of bounds.

AND, the networks bosses are willing to cut sporting event coverage short to focus on something that at best should be part of a post event "very special look at so and so".

That is, when they are NOT going out of their way to plug shows that nobody will watch and will probably be canceled within a month of going on the schedule after the games.

And, of course, running clips from last night's "tonight show" whose ratings have tanked since what's'is'name took over.
