@Dragon: The warm salt gargle does help even though it sounds gross. Like boatswife, I also use a sore throat cough drop. They are cherry flavored. The name of them is Halls - Triple soothing action. Not sure if you have these in the UK. Feel better soon!

I'll try it before I go to bed. I can last through the day with drinking a lot it's just the night. I think we have something similar. I'll have a look tomorrow.

I can see that

So tomorrow, I'm a go and buy some lozenges, iburifen/cough syrup. And some ice cream. Might sooth it a little.

And a new toothbrush until the heads for my tooth brush comes.

I can swallow much better and it doesn't hurt as much. I also did the salt water gargle. Was surprisingly not as bad as I thought
