My favourite soups are tomato and vegetable. Empty a tin of each into a pot. Shake in some herbs and sprinkle some black pepper in. It makes tinned soup taste much nicer and its quick and easy. You can also add any extra vegetables that you might have.
Tomato soup tastes good mixed with lentil soup too.
Another favourite is French Onion Soup. You chop and fry an onion. Make some beef stock (I just use water and 3 oxo cubes) and add salt and black pepper. Add the ingredients together and heat on the stove. Then pour into a bowl.
Next, slice a bread roll in half. Put cheese on top of one half, float it on top of the soup and pop it under the grill until the cheese melts. Serve. Tastes great.
I actually don't like soup at all, but if I must have it, broccoli and cheddar soup
