Have you ever gotten hurt while playing sports? What happened?

Know someone who got hurt?

Yeah, I torn all the ligaments in my leg while playing football for my college team, I was out for 5 months and on crutches

I'm a pitcher for a women's fastpitch softball team. One time the batter connected with the ball and it slammed me right in the left shoulder. My shoulder was dislocated but they were able to pop it back in. I was out for 4 weeks and had to go through physical therapy but I'm back pitching now.

Snapped my hamstring in highschool playing hockey on Astroturf.

Never really healed properlly, Now I can't run so most sports are out for me :/

I've only ever pulled a muscle, and as weak as that sounds, it freakin' killed. And my knees continuously kept locking up so I had to quit football because it hurt so much.

I've had 3 footballs to the head... and a softball bat.

You need to keep those balls away from your face.

Sorry I coudlnt resist.

I was being tackled in rugby and the guy that tackled me hurt his arm. Fortunatly is OK now

Nope, never. I only run so I've had leg pains and soreness, but never an injury. I've seen some people get hurt relatively bad and end up having to stop playing. Never really been from playing the sport though. IE. Runner got hurt from lifting.

Played football and hurt my knee, which caused my JRA to come back into it. Had to have it drained, went through surgery, and had to take medical steroids, and just recently had to get it drained again.
