Have you ever staffed at several forums all at once? Is this a good idea? Do you think a good staff member should devote him/herself to one or two forums only?

The most sites I've ever been a staff member all at one time was 3.

I didn't do anything on either 3 sites, because there was nothing to be done D:

IMO, I think that a staff member should be devoted to only one forum. If you were asked to be a staff member then you should be honored and give that forum 100%.

2 is my max.

Ive been a moderator at another forum while admin'ing my own. = 2 staff jobs.

Ive admin'ed two forums at the same time. = 2 staff jobs.

Now I just admin Off Topix and thats about all I want to do. I get staff offers from people all the time and I think its a nice gesture and I feel bad telling them I can't do it, but I don't want to commit another forum when I can barely make time for my own forum with all the things going on in my life right now. I still manage to do it though.

I used to moderate at a site while administrating my own. That's the most I've done. And ironically, both my own site and the site I was moderating have gone down the toilet.

Ever since I got admin on level up people started offering me multiple staff positions. I always turned them down, there's no way I would have the time for more than one staff position.

Yes. I only do multiple staff jobs if it's graphics related nowadays. I'm currently working for three sites as we speak as a graphics and item artist. *Not to mention my own forum* Two of which are paid. Being a moderator in more then one forum isn't really a good idea for me since I like to dedicate my attention to one site at a time. I believe it's mostly on the person since I'm sure there are people who can work multiple positions.

Even if I had ten jobs it could never compare to the one job I had as a moderator on a pet site called SobaPets. With a site growing with thousands of members every day and always having staff meetings every couple of hours it was the most involving and tiring experience I've ever had. I never regret it because I learned a lot from it but it was insanity having to watch the shoutbox, forums and everything within the users reach all at the same time.
