Do you ever go to Starbucks? What do you get?

I have never been to a Starbucks.

Not often but I love those buttery croissants and the lemon loaf cake. The vanilla bean frappuccino is good too.

Usually the food items because I don't care about coffee or sugary drinks. I like the egg bites and the breakfast sandwiches.

I can't stand their drinks and I can't afford their food, but I ADORE their water. Free and filtered and delicious.

I went for the first time in a year and got an iced Decaf Americana and it was really good. Our ice maker is out on our fridge, so once I was done drinking the coffee, I kept the ice and made another decaf in my Keurig and poured it over the ice LOL

I find their coffee to be cheap tasting and often poorly made. They just like to flood the coffee with sugar to make it taste decent and I have no intention on paying extra for that.

The only time I go to Starbucks is when we are passing through the NJTP and decide to stop for gas and for the restroom..

My husband loved their Mocha Chip frappe and always gets that.. but as for me.. I prefer Cafe Bustelo.

I just can't see paying an inflated price for burnt coffee.. there has never been a time that I have had Starbucks and it didn't taste burnt..

That said though.. their bottled coffee is very good and even that Mocha Chip frappe that my husband gets.. but when we are on the road I tend to avoid caffeine and get a slushie or slurpee to stay awake..

Rarely. Although I do have a deli downstairs at work that sells Starbucks drinks. There's a Starbucks at the hospital, so if I really wanted to I could go there, but meh. The drinks they sell in the deli are actually a little cheaper.

Hell, no. I hate their coffee and they don't pay their taxes so there's no reason for me to go there.

I'm not a coffee drinker in general, so no. Every once in awhile I'll get food from there but never drinks.

No as I think their drinks and food are so nasty.

Whats nasty about their food? Yeah its microwaved but its decent quality, lol :p
When are we talking here?

Is this before or after they bought Au Bon Pain (sp?)

I ask because if it was before they bought that company, then I'd agree that their food sucked. In fact, I often picked ABP over Starbucks for that reason.

But I don't know if they got rid of ABP's food in lieu of their own, or if the quality had just gone downhill after they bought them.

But Starbucks food has always sucked, their muffins and pastries were always dried out, like they had been sitting out all day and night.. and at the airport and train stations, I always smelled the pastries from ABP, but never Starbucks.. I did always smell burnt coffee though, which isn't surprising to me..

It really depends on the location. If you get Starbucks in a college town, you'll get something that's really strong and the caffeine will make your head explode. The Starbucks in the Target stores often taste much better than the actual Starbucks shop down the street. That's so weird.

That right there, it may be of decent quality, but it is microwaved and not made fresh!

True that but you'd be surprised how much stuff is microwaved in fast food and in restaurants.

Not sure where their snacks come actually.

My daughter loves their cake pops though. I've had them, they are decent.
