These days people are getting back to the static sites. And they make sure to add the static content into the website. And update the site content as it helps them. I am in the process of making one static site and the blog in general too. Learning nextjs for this purpose.

Have you tried static site? or have made anyone and hosted online?
 
played around on baysdeves before and then that was that
 
My portfolio is a static site at the moment but I probably will go down the dynamic route. Sometimes it's just easier to manage things with a dynamic website so that you don't have to keep editing code.
 
Well, it's not very important anyway at the moment I say with other things you have to do. not like you making money from your portfolio
 
Can someone break this down for me? What do you mean by a static site?
