Do you think its okay to steal food or toilet paper or medicine or whatever your family needs if you have no money?

Personally, I think that it takes a big person to risk their freedom to provide for the family out of desperation.

However they should have exhausted all other options.. Asking everyone they know to borrow money, do odd jobs, etc..

I can see if someone does it once or twice if they were really desperate. If it were a normal thing then that's pretty pathetic and they police should not go lenient on them.

Stealing is a SIN. lol.. Just kidding.

If you gave everyone that excuse.. everyone prolly use it for their reason to steal.

Regardless of it. Stealing is the wrong way to make things better. Instead of using pity excuses in life and stealing. Go do something about it. Not steal. There are options. Ways to help you. Use it.

Just that people only see the easy way out. Usually it causes even more problems.

No I do not think stealing for any reason is acceptable. There are soup kitchens, shelters, unemployment and welfare benefits available.

I find our wealth distribution totally outrageous, and the ruling class in America has got all the sheep accepting it as right, that these people somehow deserve to have 1000x as much money as we will ever have.

I don't think it is right but if someone in my family really needed i wouldn't have a problem stealing it.

Why do I feel this urge to go watch Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves again?

Theft is theft. You will be caught, you will end up in prison eventually, and it is damned hard to support your family from jail.

Unless you are in Congress or on Wall Street, that is, then Theft is rewarded and you'll end up in the Senate or as CEO.

I do not think stealing is exactable if i'm honest. If you need stuff you go out and do any work you can, never mind how hard, how much the struggle, you should always work hard to live a decent life and put food on the table.

Well that doesn't help people in emergency situations..

Stealing is a crime and people should know better not to, stealing can turn nasty depending on the person and also what sort of a role model would you be if you were stealing? Especially if the person has children.

What if it were a life and death situation?

Stealing is stealing no matter how you try to justify it. It'll come back to bite you.

Stealing is fine if it is a large cooperation. These company's rip people of for millions everyday, I'm sure they won't miss a few things every now and then.
