Anyways, with my forum, I had a few post exchanges done for it and whatnot and yet it's not exactly that active..



I thought of stuff like having a blog up(with a link to the forums) or even making some sort of website..



Or if I get to writing.. that I could perhaps have it, where guests have to register to see most of my stories and just give them short stories(as a incentive) and whatnot, hell I could even write a guide for Kino Der Toten in Call of Duty:Black Ops..



But I'm not exactly that great at advertising and most of my staff members left..

1. What is the name of this forum as the banner is blank except for an image.

2. The dark color skin just kills my eyes. I cannot stand the dark skin for any length of time as I seriously will get a headache.

3. Whenever you have a genre specific forum, you have to realize that not all people are into what your forum is offering.

4. I suggest that if you want to attract members that aren't into gaming or anime/manga you need to add more General Discussion topics.

5. You need to advertise heavily where ever you can. If people don't know about your forum, how will they ever find it?



If I think you anything else, I will be back. Ugh....that dark skin did me in for now!

Again by doing this, you are not going to get members that aren't into gaming and anime/manga. Believe it or not, most people like talking about life stuff more than they do other topics.

Keep advertising and sooner or later it will pay off for you. You just have to have patience and perserverience.

The best I can do is just bump my advert topics and post around on those forums.

The niche concept will killed off, when I publish my stories(after I write them..) and people will think, Hey this guy is a nice writeror something.



And I might just make the Reaper's Symphony series available only to members.

In my opinion. A URL that is relevent to the site is highly recomended.



I also recomend topsites, affiliating with other anime/manga sites, putting your banner in signatures on sites, posting adverts everywhere, if you have time registering to something like http://www.linkreferral.com/ . For link referral to work you really need to view other sites and comment on 5 a day. You also get feedback from other people on that site aswell as ratings.
