Stop Freaking Out About ISIS

That's the truth but the ones that are getting killed elsewhere only see America as a whole, not that the government and the elite are playing chess...

Also, please be cautious that most might call you a nut bag conspirator talking the truth like that when most Americans are brainwashed and programed to feel and think a certain way...

Where are you getting your information from in regards to how brainwashed American's are? Is it the few people you've met compared to the amount of people who actually live in America? Were there studies taken? Polls? Surveys? Is there evidence you can provide? I'm genuinely curious as to where this "most" estimate is coming from and would like to see some sort of hard proof.

I can understand that a lot of American's are ignorant when it comes to certain things, but there are plenty of people who have been polled about their opinion on the government and how they believe congress is doing. The numbers are incredibly low in regards to how effective the government is, in fact. Google it and you'll get an idea of what I'm talking about.

I think as the younger generation becomes old enough to slip into the work force, as they come out of college seeing how hard of a struggle it is to get a job still, and as these babies grow up into adulthood that plenty of us are realizing the government isn't such a good thing. I know I'm one of those people who does not trust what the government promises. I am capable of thinking for myself based on historical evidence. This isn't about what Fox News is broadcasting. This is me using my common sense to make educational guesses about potential future occurrences.

If we don't learn from our past and take away lessons from what has happened in this country, we are doomed to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. And it will eventually be our demise.

The reason why people are bothered by groups like ISIS is that they desire to convert and kill all Christians and kill all Jewish people. The reason they aren't doing it everywhere is they are unable and not because they are unwilling. It's better to heed this threat now while it's unable to act out its full desires upon the world then wait before it becomes capable of doing so.

The mindset that it's not wise to take a threat seriously because it's weak is exactly what Germany and Hitler used to gain power by making deals and delaying action against them till they became so powerful that they were capable of destroying the allies and eradicating all that opposed them.

I would say any group that's so savage and radical that even Al Queda publicly denounce them speaks volumes about how evil they really are. If you want to truly see what they are willing to do when they have the power to do so can watch this video. The whole thing isn't about ISIS but the beginning is and it's worth watching all the way though. Maybe back when we were fighting each other with rocks and sticks this kind of thought process would fly, but warfare has becomes very much advanced and complex over the years. ISIS isn't just located in one particular spot on the map. There are plenty of people who support their cause and fight in the name of the group, and therefore makes "bombing everyone and get it over with" much more difficult to do.

You can't look at the situation on the polar opposite of the spectrum as it is not so black and white. It's just like how Bush assumed we could eradicate all the turrists in the middle east 'cause that's what 'Muricuh does best. What needs to happen is we need to ally with supporters of freedom and peace and exchange intelligence and resources. It would be ignorant on our part to go in on this alone. But in order to extinguish a threat, you must cut off its resources. Where is ISIS gaining their steam from? Who is supporting them/how are they supporting themselves? Are they in a specific location? Are they spread throughout the world and walking among us? These are all questions we need to determine before making such a drastic move.

And it's partly the reason why people think that Obama is an idiot for not acting sooner (eg. bombing the hell out of everyone). That would show action. But since we're not over there conducting airstrikes or sending troops in to eradicate the holes they're hiding in, it seems like there's nothing happening.

I was listening to this on OPB when I was on the way home from work. They may not be a direct threat to us at the moment, but they are a direct and immediate thread to our allies and innocent people in countries nearby simply trying to live their lives. If the UK has raised their threat level from substantial to severe, who's to say something similar won't happen on our side of the Atlantic?

ISIS is not an Islamic organization by any mean. They are just traitors who are using Islamic statements and verbs to give the world a terribly misleading about Islam.

I'm a Muslim and ISIS never and will never represent me or anyone of the 3 billions muslims around the globe. Islam is not about beheading journalists and killing innocent civilians. ISIS is definitely created by a group that targets to picture that all Muslims are killers. The truth is the complete opposite of that.

Mexico is more of a threat to the united states as more and more gang members and dangerous people are coming in the country each and everyday...

Thats the very reason they are a threat. ISIS hates us more then any other country. Government officials and drug lords in Mexico on the border are easily bought with the loads of Money ISIS is willing to give out. That combination and our open border make them the most dangerous organization on the planet. If I was ISIS and hated Americans as much as they do and was willing to sacrifice many personal soldiers and had the treasure they do I would send them over the border and make some kind of simultaneous strike on the biggest cities at the same time across America. Over night our economy would collapse and paralyze people.
