What are some stupid forum decisions you have made in the last 2 years as a forum owner? For me, it was trying to run a forum at all! Honestly, when you have a lot of health problems, dr appointments, work, other things going on, it really makes you wonder why you even opened a forum to begin with! I revived my forum last month, but I am at this point debating about what to do with it. Whether I should sell it for forum bucks some place, or just hand it over to my co-admin and step down as a regular member. Other than that, opening a forum at all was the biggest dumbest decision I ever made, as, once I started trying to do this, I realized that every time I've done it, it's always at the most stupidest time. Usually when I have loads to do and not enough time to do it in. It took me 2 and a half years to realize that I could be doing something more constructive than trying to run a forum of my own. What about you guys?

To stop administering my pride and joy (Cloverfield Movie Forum) I miss those days.

Um...

Giving up alot, staying up all night just to post, & getting caught lol.

Starting a forum when I couldn't spell properly and when I made such useless announcements. I started a forum when I was about a eleven and I made useless topic after useless topic that had no real need for existence and when I look back I wish I would have been a bit more intelligent and comprehended that it would hurt my credibility as a forum administrator.

That reminds me of this one forum I came across one time. The admin was like 10 and obsessed with poo.

Every topic on the forum had something to do with crap. Literally.

It was disgusting.

I suppose a 10 year old brain would find that entertaining but not me.

I didn't have any credibility as a site owner and that hurt my respect for a long time. But look at me now, I can use the word hypothesis in a sentence

I was a kid than and I moved on from it so I am alright with it

In actuality, experience with spelling and grammar does have a lot to do with it. I remember when I first started out, I always made an announcement after our forum got to so many posts. Not always in the thousands mark like most forums do, but I remember getting excited over every little post that was made. Now that doesn't phase me half as much, but I do enjoy the fact that I have at least achieved something this time around, anyway.
