Off Topix is a well established general discussion forum that originally opened to the public way back in 2009! We provide a laid back atmosphere and our members are down to earth. I like suggestions, but some are just no good.
People keep saying tone down the categories. But I don't want to tone it down. I want to discuss a lot of stuff and can't live with only 2 or 3 topics. So I have 6 categoreis and 3 boards each so 18 boards total.
That is too much for most people. But I want a large site. I hate small ones. So I hate it when nobody listens and I have to argue. I can't afford to tone anything down or there won't be anything to discuss or much of a site for that matter.

I used to hear that all the time when I had reviews done for my forum. One of the reasons I stopped. They picked up on areas I didn't want to change and left out what I originally asked oppinions for.
Needless to say my members are the ones that requested more catergories
Doesnt bother me none. I dont make suggestions very often on forums in the 1st place. If people dont like my idea, then oh well. Their loss.

Likewise. I only make suggestions if I see a feature that's bothering me or if there's something I'd like to see added or deleted. Otherwise, I don't make suggestions that much. If I like a persons forum, then I'll gladly say so. If I don't, I'll just politely wish them luck with their site. No point in trying to hurt someone's feelings, no matter how much work they put into the site.
