Summer camp

I've been to a lot of them, like 2 every summer. It's actually really fun, I learned how to kayak and surf there, 2 of my most favourite hobbies, I've seen a lot of countries (Sweden, Portugal, France and Germany) and I've met a lot of good friends I still see occasionally.

So yeah, I loved it while it lasted, because it's a cheap vacation where they teach you a sport that you probably wouldn't learn otherwise and you do it with people of your own age who are a lot of fun most of the time.

Only camp I ever went to was a week-long camp (outdoor education) in elementary school. It was really fun.

I've been afraid of camps ever since I heard stories from my grandpa that there's a possibility you might get raped by one of your partners. I've never gone to one since.

I've been camping many times before. Not specifically a summer camp but a camp nonetheless.

We don't have a summer camp here, atleast not what i am aware of. I don't really like the idea personally, summer for me isn't for going camping.

I was a summer camp counselor and it was great fun. I met so many nice children and other counselors. It was a good learning experience and where else can you get paid to just have fun and enjoy the outdoors? I came home with such great memories and the last day of camp, we were all crying that it had to end. I am still in touch with some of the children and counselors.
