Everyone's familiar with this, right?;)
Sun dried tomatoes are tomatoes that have been dried to remove most of their moisture, which concentrates their flavour and gives them a sweet, tangy taste. They're commonly used in Mediterranean cuisine.

Do any of you enjoy eating sun dried tomatoes?
Have you tried making them at home?

Never had them, I was just reminded of an episode of Ugly Betty. The sandwich guy refused to give her more than 3 on her sandwich.

Never had them,
A little surprised you've never tried this, but I guess everyone is different.
I try almost anything.

Haha, that is funny
I love sun dried tomatoes but I love tomatoes in general. :p
I don't usually put them on sandwiches, but I used to enjoy eating them just as they are, with some bread on the side. I could eat a lot back then, but now, not so much and very rarely.
The ones I buy never taste as good and often taste bad, though I still eat them. The ones I compare them to are the sun dried tomatoes my mother made from the tomatoes we grew, along with the pickles tomatoes she made, but that's a topic for another time.

No matter what, anything store bought will never be the same.

I'm not a tomato person at all. I'll have marinara sauce and a few other tomato sauces but never a tomato.

Though, I have made this dish for dinner parties in the past and it has been a HUGE hit. People seem to love their sundried tomatoes =)

I was a picky eater.
His reason was that more would overpower the taste of the turkey.

I have to agree with that. Even though I don't eat them on sandwiches, if there were a lot, it would overpower everything else.
At that point, no need a sandwich just grab the jar and start eating
