WASHINGTON (AFP) â The Supreme Court has stayed the execution of a convicted murderer in Texas less than an hour before he was due to die after a plea from France and his lawyers to allow further DNA tests.
Henry Hank Skinner claims that new DNA tests will prove he did not commit the New Year's Eve 1993 triple murder for which he was sentenced to death.
