Surprise gifts or not?

Do you prefer to tell people what you would like for Christmas or get surprises?

I don't want or expect anything, so I wouldn't dream of telling someone what to get me

Most surprise gifts are hit and miss so I'm like meh because they are things I know I'll end up giving to someone else.

I'd rather be surprised. I can buy whatever I want so I don't ask people for things I want, I just get them myself.

Surprised. If someone asks outright, I'll give ideas, but I'd rather it be a surprise.
