Have you ever had a surprise party? (that was an actual surprise)

Have you ever planned one or been to one? How did it go?

I've been dragged to a couple, but fortunately not subjected to any. I can't stand being in crowds and especially being the centre of attention, so I don't do many parties! The ones I was dragged to went well for the people they were held for!

1 Friend went with my sis and I to go see Spice World, when we came back we found our other friend and our mom had decorated the dining room. (y)

We planned one for my daughter a while back but she went in the wrong door! Everyone was facing the front door ready to yell surprise and she came in the back door. :ROFLMAO:
Did she yell SURPRISE!?

Oh dear, that's a great way to ruin her own surprise party :D
It wasn't ruined, she was still shocked. We had it at my grandmas house. She thought we were just going over for a regular visit with grandma. Instead grandma's house was packed with pretty much everyone she's ever known in her life.

Aww, how wonderful that must have been :)

no.

I don't do parties

way too intriverted

In my opinion, surprise parties are a form of abuse, since you're essentially forcing a person to experience an unforeseen event, regardless of how that person feels about it. Unless you know a person well enough to know beyond reasonable doubt that (s)he'll respond positively to it, I wouldn't recommend trying it, especially if the person is an antisocial introvert. That's guaranteed to end in a disaster.

Care to provide any counter-arguments or do you prefer to simply take my words out of context and mock & ridicule them?

Care to provide any counter-arguments

Not really. Nobody was talking about throwing surprise parties for people with personality issues and social disorders.

Nor have you specified via your sock puppet account that the question applies only to humans who enjoy and are willing to participate in such event:

Have you ever had a surprise party? (that was an actual surprise)

Have you ever planned one or been to one? How did it go?

See? Not everyone are like you. Lots of us would rather sit alone in the dark than to participate in such or any other social activity. The fact you laugh and ridicule us for being different speaks volumes about you.
