It seems like in today's society we are under constant surveillance.

Whenever you leave the house you are usually on camera wherever you go.

Your phone knows where you are at all times.

When you're on the internet your ISP knows what you're doing.

What are your thoughts on this?
 
I don't like the ever-increasing surveillance, but it feels inescapable. I use secure DNS providers and VPNs to protect myself online a lot, but not much you can do about phones or being out in public. Even in most neighborhoods now you're on camera the second you leave. It's hyper-McCarthyism, almost. Gotta' keep an eye on your neighbor in case they're a red!

It's odd that even your phone and the internet can watch you. I think being on camera in public is somewhat necessary for the safety of you and those around you. Not as many people are going to commit crimes when they know they're being videotaped.
