Suspensions and Detentions!

Have you ever been suspended from school? Got a detention?

How many times did it happen and what did you do?

Detention yes, many times in my final year. Just had to stay behind after school and do my homework.
Teachers always thought I was lazy, but I didn't have time to do it after school as I had to go home and sort my mum and stepdad out.

I was suspended from school three times, all for aggressive behaviour. The first was in January 2004 where I verbally abused someone that annoyed me, the second in June 2006 where I threw a chair at my teacher after getting so angry of not being able to leave school (and I really wanted to leave at the end of 5th Year) but luckily the chair made contact with his left leg, and the third one three months later where I lashed out at someone else that annoyed me.

If that chair had hit the teacher in the head, then I would've been expelled. During that time, I was a hot-blooded person yet I was a hard worker

Suspended for fighting. Suspension, however, was lifted after the facts came out. I was bullied to death all during my school years. My dad was in the military and we lived on the base in a mobile home. My dad couldn't afford to buy me new clothes, so I wore hand-me-downs. My clothes were always clean and pressed. Then there's the hair color factor. As you all probably know by now, I have flaming red hair. During my school years, I was called 'trailer trash', 'dumpster diver' (because of my clothes) and 'Raggedy Ann' (because of my hair).

One day in highschool, I was in the bathroom washing my hands. The leader of the bully pack came in. She grabbed my hair and spit on me. I snapped and punched her in the face. She fell and hit her head on the side of the sink. She reported me to the Principal. Of course, she said I was the one that started the fight for no reason. They called my dad and suspended me for a week.

Once I told my dad what REALLY happened, he called for a meeting with the Principal. He told him what I had been going through and how the fight started. My dad agreed that what I did wasn't right but neither was my punishment. The Principal interviewed other girls in my class and they 'fessed up' that this bully was out to get me. My suspension was lifted. The good thing that happened, was the bully and her pack stayed the hell away from me after that.

I've never been suspended... as for detention, there was a rather small scale food fight once that ended with me and a friend having to sweep the bike shelter after school.
We started out pretty well but ended cutting some corners

1st suspension: Relieving myself in the playground in Grade 1, for 3 days.
2nd suspension: Shoving a Grade 3 girl down to the ground, breaking her back. 3 days
3rd suspension: Grabbing a classmate by the throat. 1 day
4th suspension: Making disturbing and derogatory remarks to female classmates in PE. 1 week
5th suspension: Knocking out a Grade 7 student at lunch break. Expulsion
6th suspension: Insulting another student using curse words. Detention, plus 1 day suspension
7th suspension: Wrote a rant on an essay of a US History test. 1 day

I think I had a couple of detentions in junior high, but I really don't remember.

But, that was... well, hell. My 30th COLLEGE reunion is coming up. I'm not going to go, but it is coming up this fall.

I got a detention for stealing the teachers edition and having all the right answers on my homework.
...Plus I gave all my friends the answers too.

That's an awful lot of suspensions.
