One thing that has changed recently is the feeling around takeaways. I feel like it's normalised more now and not as special as it used to be. For example, food from places like KFC or Mcdonald's felt like a treat.

Does anyone else feel like this?

I feel like this. I always remember as a kid, anything such as McDonald's or even a takeaway from our local takeaway place was a treat.

My family used to very often treat us to a McDonald's and I always remember being nearly a teenager before my brothers first had a takeaway from the local pizzeria near us, always remember my mum saying tea was a surprise and when we received it, we were so excited because back then it was a treat.

These fast food chains were so special to me. These are the places where most kids like me want to visit during the family days in the past.
