The Washington Team, formerly Redskins, has been renamed Washington Commanders.

How do you feel about these name changes coming from certain groups that pressure sponsors?
 
I think this is mostly a North America (and China actually) thing.

In the UK and Europe teams are generally just called after the town or city they are from, plus something like United, Athletic, or often just FC for Football Club, or RFC for Rugby Club.

It's kind of hard to be offended by or argue with any of those.
 
If they changed their names, they can be tagged as underdogs. It means that they need to make them well-known again.
