Ted Cruz flubs, deletes YouTube response to Obama

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) learned the hard way on Tuesday why his fellow Republicans decided to pre-record their State of the Union responses.

In a video posted to YouTube shortly after President Barack Obama wrapped up his State of the Union address, Cruz offered his rebuttal, saying that it is “time to move on beyond” the president. But before he could move on, Cruz needed to start over.

Just shy of one minute into the video, Cruz is seen saying, “Let me start over.” The video then cuts to Cruz redelivering his response criticizing Obama’s claims of an American economy on the mend.

The video, which was quickly deleted, was recovered and made available by the blog Mediaite.

Not sure which Tea Party response you are talking about but this is the one I recognize along with it being the biggest organization for the Tea Party. He speaks in a kind of flat tone but I like his message.

he sounds like another bs politician that's full of bs and lies...

he's thankful for the military for defending our freedoms and liberty all over the globe? how is the american military defending american's freedoms and liberty by destroying countries that aren't a threat to america and killing innocent women and children abroad when the federal government is oppressing americans and destroyed our freedoms and liberty with each passing law and act they pass?

he also thinks that this country was founded on freedoms and liberty for all, yet doesn't mention it was for freedoms and liberty for white men that didn't like the british rule and taxation...

he then says, obama's "higher taxation" is wrong yet he fails to mention that obama only wants the people that make a yearly income of $250,000 to pay the same and fair amount of tax, including businesses to pay their fair share...

now, i disagree with obamacare, and i want it destroyed...

he says he's against redistribution of wealth, yet still supports taxes--hypocritical...

now, i'm for smaller government and against big government, but obama has the right idea of making those who are willing to go the extra mile to educate themselves should not cripple them financially and live in everlasting debt... by taxing the rich and wealthy in a fair percentage way, just like everyone else, and give grants and free education to those that are willing to go the extra mile is a good way to start rebuilding and a great thing for america...

he then says that he wants opportunity for all and favoritism for none, yet forgets he's a white male, he's privileged in two ways automatically by default... he also fails to realize the reality that racism and bigotry is alive and well in america, that favoritism towards the whites are strong within the business realm...

his ever smear grainy smile every time he mentions a popular or important matter tells me he's lying or just saying things to make himself and his party look good...

i also mind you that he's not speaking from his heart nor speaking for america, he's reading words on a screen and he's talking for the minority not the majority of americans...

i stopped watching as soon as he started talking about basketball...
