A Mooresville high schooler charged with threatening to carry out a school shooting on Valentine’s Day had sought mental health assistance since at least freshman year, according to an arrest affidavit.
Trinity Shockley, 18, faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder and felony intimidation after an investigation revealed the Mooresville High School student sent messages on social media about the plot.
“Parkland part two,” one of the messages read. “I’ve been planning this for a year.”
