If you are American,

What are you doing for thanksgiving this year?

What do you usually do?

I volunteer to work on Thanksgiving. This way a crew member that has family can have the day off. Before I go to work, however, I have Thanksgiving lunch at the local nursing home. I have adopted several seniors who have no family that come to visit them. It's fun and the food is very good. I look forward to it as much as my senior friends do. I have been doing this for three years now.

I will probably work most of the day, then we'll all be let off at a certain time. And I'll probably eat a little Turkey. My mom is plannin' to go to Louisiana to be with Family for Thanksgiving.

We used to eat at two separate families however, right now we don't really do anything at all to celebrate it honestly, I do enjoy the leftovers though.
