We went to the beach on New Year's Eve, we were mainly sitting in the BBQ area, so i took some pictures from there, it was a great swimming day, the only problem was there was not many waves that day.

Nice pictures. It doesn't look like there's much sand there, and they've even got a jetty. It seems more like the local marina than the local beach for me, but things could be different over there.
 
Great photos! A no wave day is the perfect time to pull out the float & just lay out all day.

There's a fair bit of sand actually, most of if it you can't see, all beaches here have Jetty's. Well, all of the ones i have been to have anyway.
