I'm OK with doing that, but I will start with this.
I believe the MESSAGE of the overall Book of Books is indeed inspired by GOD and contains Wisdom and Instruction that, when properly applied to our lives, benefits all.
I also believe that some of the Book has been lost through time, and some has been corrupted by those with agendas of their own. BUT, that enough of the Original has survived to make clear what we need to hear.
And now I will ask a follow up question.
Which "Bible" do you mean?
In the "King James" and associated translations (like the NIV) there are 66 books divided into 39 in the Old and 27 in the New Testaments.

So, we need to define what we're talking about.
according to the tradition of my people, the first five books were written by moses and the ancient stories are believed to be true to an extent, but can't be taken completely literally because , up through the miracles at sinai, the stories were in the oral tradition for a long time. the deluge story is a good example of an inaccurate accounting of an actual event that has geologic and archaeological evidence to support it. the story exists in a similar setting in older Mesopotamian tablets as well as a few other fragments found around the mediterranean.
the torah is the chronicle of the family of adam, through noah, the patriarchs, kings and prophets, showing an unbroken family tree through the book of matthew with the all the begets and begats right up to jesus, from the line of david through joseph, husband of mary, mother of jesus. from there the authenticity of the story line breaks down with all the pagan myths that got added in to make judaism palatable to the pagans paul and john were proselytizing. no telling what's real in the new testament at this point, but the torah has faithfully been transcribed all these millennia down to the smallest pen stroke. the least error or smudge on the parchment and the whole scroll gets burned.
