How would you describe the color blue to a person who was born blind?

It's a color of a gentle breeze that isn't very cold or very warm but gives a sense of comfort when you're feeling a little out of your normal and a color of friends holding hands in a quiet moment with no sense of rush - an assurance you're not alone. It's a wide and connects the ends together.

I'd describe it as the sensation you get at the beach on a warm day with a mild breeze. Of course I also think of orange when I think of the same sensation. :P

I would start by saying blue is what you feel when you feel a cool breeze touch your skin, or when you touch cold water. It is a very calming color, and it can be bright or dark. Light blue is the sound of birds chirping outside after a misty rain. Dark blue is the piercing sound of a howling a wolf at night. The color blue is like drinking a glass of ice cold water on a very hot day.
