I just watched this video in my van while having lunch. Thanks for sharing this. The man is a hero in my book and deserves a medal.

the guy says that alligators aren't dangerous...

from saying just that he has no credibility in my eyes...

i live in central florida, i've been in that same river, and saying that alligators aren't dangerous is just crazy talk...

I live here also in central Florida and I have swam among them and for the most part they are not dangerous with people. While water skiing once I land 3 feet in front of a very, very large alligator. It pops up in front of me looks right at me for what felt like forever then drops underwater and I am thinking it is all over and I am going to be this Alligators dinner. Nothing happened boat came around and the spotter in the boat yells did you see that HUGE gator in front of you!? He had to be 11 feet long!

And anyways what the guy meant was in the canoes they are in they are just fine with nothing to worry about. You get near those alligators in a boat and they sink immediately and get out of the way. I spent many years as a kid canoing down the Wekiva River watching them just like him.

(because of an idiotic human swimming where gators are, the gator had to be killed for being a gator...)

same could be said about sharks...

i guess sharks aren't dangerous either...

shoot, might as well say all animals aren't dangerous while we're at it...

and i'm pretty sure you're ignoring the video i posted as well...

I do not see any canoes in your video of a alligator taking out a guy in it. No mass deaths of people being eaten right out of there boats. And I love that T.V. show above and saw that very episode without even having to watch it. So Yes you put your head in a alligator it is going to bite you.

okay, this is not going to become a debate about if alligators is dangerous or not because everyone with half of a brain knows that gators are dangerous...
