The Greek monasteries 'suspended in the air'

Balancing on top of giant rock formations, the 24 monasteries of Meteora in Thessaly are among Greece's most popular attractions.



The Unesco protected site, which was featured in the Bond film For Your Eyes Only, towers above the surrounding landscape.



Theopi Skarlatos takes the steep journey to the top, or the stairway to heaven as it is sometimes called by locals.
