The Last of Us Movie

I know a lot of you haven't played this game yet, but it's one of my favorites and now they're making a movie for it.  When you delve into a game like this where you get drawn into the characters, you form a sort of one-sided repertoire with them, and if whoever is casting the movie chooses wrongly, it could ruin the whole thing.  Which brings me to my question: Who do you want to see playing the main cast? (Nebulousl, Ellie, Tess, Tommy, Bill (although I think W. Earl Brown would actually be a perfectly good fit since he was in a lot of movies already and kinda looks like Bill anyway)).

What do you mean the back story, Nebulous?  

Basically, the story is that Nebulousl (guy in picture) is to take the girl (Ellie) across the country to a laboratory because she is essentially the cure for mankind against the zombie outbreak. At first, they butt heads, but eventually they come to like each other and even trust one another. Their relationship grows from complete strangers to something akin to father/daughter, although it seems a bit one-sided at times.

Yes! And it looks spectacular. They didn't really add anything other than the DLC with Ellie and Riley. Otherwise, it was mainly focused on graphics.

One of the few PS exclusives that looked amazing. Sadly, since I didn't and probably never will own a PS3 or 4 I'll never play this game. I hope the movie works out for you, but if they would make a movie out of a game I love that much I'd be veeeeery skeptical.

One of the good things is that the director for the game is working on the script personally. He probably wouldn't let it happen if he wasn't allowed to, so that puts a lot of faith in me that it'll stay true to the premise of the game.

Sounds like it would be a good movie.

It's a great game and it deserved the hype and reviews it got, and I'm sure it'll be a great movie with the right cast, the right script, and the right director.

It's a great game and it deserved the hype and reviews it got, and I'm sure it'll be a great movie with the right cast, the right script, and the right director.

Hopefully all of that happens. I'd watch.
