The passenger seat

If you’re driving who should sit in the passenger seat? Your mom or SO and why?

My husband. We've been married so long, we know each other's quirks. While I'm very close to my mom, I haven't drove with her in the vehicle. When all 4 of us would go somewhere, either my dad or husband would drive & my mom & I would be in the backseat chitchatting lol

They can decide between themselves. I know where my seat is, as long as everyone else who is supposed to be there makes it into the car somewhere that's just fine.

My husband usually rides passenger simply because I prefer to drive. I only really ride passenger if I'm feeling unwell or I'm extremely tired on a long trip.

Simple. The married couple are a unit and sit side by side.

The exception is:

-Your mom is very tall or frail and needs a little more space.

-You and your mom are in the middle of a riveting conversation and so that no one needs to raise their voice unnecessarily, she sits beside you.

-Nobody cares. They sit wherever their bums land.

I guess if I picked up my mum first for some reason then I wouldn't force her to move to the back. otherwise, it just seems more normal for your SO to sit in the front with you.

My mom always chose to sit in back so we let her. My husband prefers the front seat anyway and if we go anywhere and my dad is driving, I tend to let my husband sit in front. Unless my dad insists and then we listen to my dad!

My girlfriend always sits in the passenger sit. Kids sit in the back.

If my mom has go to with us, she shall sit in the backseat.

I am not a professional driver, so I let my younger brother do it for me. Thus, I am always in the passenger seat beside him.
