For those who dont know, I have 2 retail jobs and let me tell you, I am sick and tired of the ignorance from customers nowadays. They don't say excuse me, they get incredibly close to hitting you with their shopping cart, they never make eye contact unless they need something and even then, what they're looking for is right in front of them because half the time they're too busy talking on the phone, or wearing those big ass noise cancelling headphones. That's another issue I have with retail and their "rules". Employees aren't allowed to even wear ONE ear bud because of "safety concerns" but you can have a customer that will come in and wear the biggest headphones known to mankind, on both ears. How do you expect to be aware of your surroundings if you can't hear what's around you?
Another one is the service dog issue. Yes, you can't ask someone if their dog is a trained service dog, but you don't know how bad I want to tell someone "that's not a service dog" when they bring in a small one in their shopping cart and it's sitting where a child would be. Like you just didn't want to leave the dog by itself at home. It's also a health risk when you just bring a dog in on a leash. Grocery stores are not Petsmart and I wish the rule of no animals could be enforced more efficiently.
