In high school, one of the English teachers told me, and I still remember the words: "you don't have any business writing anything more involved than a shopping list".
He may have been right. But... oh, well.

a history teacher that didn't teach, just told us to read chapter this and that, and do quiz this and that for homework to bring in the next day for grading... 
needless to say, his job was very cushioned to say the least...

My favorite teacher was Coach Oconnor in Geography my freshman year in high school. Being the reason why was he was very charismatic, funny and very cheerful. But the reason why he would be the worst teacher is this.
He was arrested and charged for forcing 6 different high school girls to have sex with him and molested several others. What is sad is that he had a wife and 3 kids. I can only imagine what he put them though as well as the parents and the children he touch. All those lives ruined and complicated. What a sad, sorry, sonovabitch.
