I don't get why people are starting to get all festive and the like a month earlier then usual. I mean hello? Are we are forgetting that Thanksgiving comes before Christmas? I get there's a bit of a stigma with it considering what went down way back in the day. But still. Its the month to be thankful, not jolly.

If this is more of a rant thing. I apologize.

American Thanksgiving is only celebrated by Americans. The rest of the world has nothing to look foward to in November. :P

Oh I know that about us Americans, but I'm actually talking about us Americans starting the Jollyness early.

Hmm okay not that this has much interest to me but:

Celebrations for 200 Years of The Netherlands (30 Nov 2013)
(Fri 08 November 2013)

In 1813 the Prince of Orange returned on the beach of Scheveningen. The first step he put on Dutch soil that day marked the freedom and rights of The Netherlands. His steps have paved their way through time and left the footprint we call the Kingdom of The Netherlands.
:P

If this is the only 'bit of life you don't get', then, sir, I am envious.

Either that, or you are lying like a Congressman.

Or delusional.

or very young

I'm too honest for Congress.

Perhaps they would rather be jolly? Though Christmas isn't exactly the time of year to forget about one's worries...
