Sounds like another holiday that will be nothing more then a thinly veiled excuse to not go to work if you are either working for the government or a bank. Almost no one cares about the history behind the day much like how no one thinks anything even remotely race related during MLK JR birthday as they just think of it is a day off from work to do things other than work. I can safely say you won't find any business anywhere that will give the day off to their workers unlike Thanksgiving or Christmas which are holidays that are actually celebrated.
Shoulda' been crammed down the throats of the Confederacy (rhetorically speaking) back in the day...that said, its' about time.
More ways for the left to spread division and anger every year.

If what was actually about education, sure but it’s not. I bet 4% of the population actually knows who was involved in the slave trade and how it worked. The wield this kind of stuff like a weapon for their own purposes.
So they should just shut up and be glad they're in America?
