Two speed flyers, a sport that combines paragliding and skiing, become the first people to successfully descend Europe's biggest and most active volcano, Sicily's Mount Etna.
Felice Boccanegra and Jody Barratin were joined by a team of guides and expert mountaineers on their climb to the top of the volcanic mountain, which peaks at 3,329 metres above sea level.
Mount Etna has already erupted four times since January this year, but despite the volatility of the volcano, Jody Barratin said he felt in safe hands during his high-speed descent back down to the valley.
The skiers are really experts and we have a guide with us, so we're pretty safe. We feel safe and the way up was absolutely beautiful and the company too, he said.
Being here today is just an amazing sensation. You can smell the smoke, the smell of the volcano. You can feel it, you can listen to the noise. And you can see all the sea around us, surrounding us and it's just a beautiful environment and beautiful feeling.
