Could you please explain why you're telling us to eat plenty of starch and 'not too much fat'? Because this is just plain wrong. Fat should make the majority of our diet, and by fat I'm talking healthy fats like Omega 3 (found in fish), Saturated fat found in animals, monounsaturated fats found in olive oil, avocadoes etc. These fats, particuarly omega 3, are essential, that is our body cannot make them, we have to consume it in our diets. Omega 3 is extremely important for brain and eye function, and protects against cardiovascular disease and cancer. Saturated fat makes up 50% of our cell membrane structure, is an efficinent source of energy, strengthens our immune system, aids calcium absoprtion, among other things.

Starch though? We need no starch whatsoever. We don't need a single carbohydrate in our diet. Starch just turns to sugar in the gut, and you're telling us to eat foods rich in starch? This is crazy. Starch only promotes insulin production(very bad), and weight gain. And we should not be getting our energy from starch/sugar, we should be getting it from fat. The only carbs and fibre you should be getting in your diet are the complex carbs and fibre in vegetables and low sugar fruits.
