Tonsils

Who here has gotten their tonsils out??



I've had this real bad cough and have been getting sore throats for almost 2 weeks now...no fever or anything. My mom says I may just get my tonsils out because of the cough and sore throat and difficulty breathing...says that they may be what's causing it...but she's not sure. Let's just say that that freaked me out a bit.

I never had mine taken out, but don't you get to eat a lot of ice cream afterward ?

Yes I had my tonsils out because I kept getting tonsillitis:

I still have my tonsils, but my fiance had to have his out, and lets just say he had a really bad experience!

I've still got my appendix as well.

Had my tonsils taken out. It's horrible. Worst part is the pain and not being able to eat anything, except chicken noodle soup.

I don't have my tonsils. They've been out for years.

I had my tonsils removed when I was 7.
