Touching

Do you mind if people touch you.. Innocently of course. Such as putting their hand your shoulder or patting you on the back (not the butt, the back.. lol) or tapping on you to get your attention... you get the idea..



Does this make you uncomfortable or do you not think twice about it?



I ask because I patted someone on the back today and they jerked away and gave me a strange look. It was weird and made nothing into an awkward situation.

Usually I think it's fine if you approach them from the front. For me, if someone approaches me from the back I get a little freaked out. From the side is fine...like a tap on my shoulder or something. But it has to be light. If it's heavy (er..a larger friend tends to tap me heavier) then it really annoys me. (Yeah, I don't get worried...I just get pissed, haha.)



If someone puts their hand on my shoulder or pats me on the back (or butt in some cases...athletes...) I don't mind. I guess I really don't care what people do, as long as I can somewhat expect it. If it's sudden though, then I'm thrown off a little bit and become slightly flustered.

If it's someone I know then it doesn't bother me. Strangers, however, it would make me feel uncomfortable. The worst thing anyone can do (and they do it often) is touch my hair. I hate when people do that!

I get mauled by my freind all the time, so I'm used to it. But if I don't know you/you suprised me and you tap me, prepared to be hitted

I tend to react slightly violently when suprised.

It only bothers me when they touch me in the back. If it's in front I just push them off.

i was at my church and i held someone to pray for them and they did not like that i a ma not like that, but I guess some people treasure their personal space

Normally I don't mind. If they continue to do it, even after I have acknowledged their attempt to get my attention, then it gets quite annoying.

I dont mind it.. Physical contact shows you the person is comfortable with you and thinks of you as a friend.. Well unless they are punching you or something.
