Town Celebrations

Is your town celebrating anything? What was the last thing your town celebrated?



Currently my town's celebrating the town's Football/Soccer team winning the league they're in (Called the Highland League). They have the team's shirt and green and white stripes. I even saw a store that had a Barbie Doll wearing the team strip

Uh..We had some bike riders on some official race/tour come through our town a while back.. That was supposidly a big deal. lol

We have a concert once a year where they close down all the down town streets and its just party mania. 5 stages.. Different bands playing each stage at the same time. Last time I went there was a lot of drunken fighting though. They had police stationed there so a lot of people got carried off.

Where I am currently doesn't have any big celebrations as a town, but at my house in france, they have like one a month, fairs, circus', concerts etc
