No dancing around the subject of today's look at the poisons and toxins in a 'healthy product'.

Aloe Vesta body wash is used in medical facilities. It is sold by ConvaTec as "A mild solution that gently cleanses without irritating or drying skin. It may be used for routine tub and shower bathing, or for no-rinse bathing and shampooing."

Wonderful, no? ... ....

Note the position on the ingredient list of Aloe, compared our friends below.

It contains two Formaldehyde releasers (DMDM Hydantoin and Quaternium-15), and it uses Cocamide DEA which is listed as a possible human carcinogen. As well as FD&C Green No. 3, also known as 'Fast Green' which is banned in Europe because of "tumorigenic... as well as mutagenic effects in both experimental animals and humans."

Full ingredient list:
Water; Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate; Sodium C14-16 Olefin Sulfonate; Sorbitol; Cocamide DEA; Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer; DMDM Hydantoin; Citric Acid; Quaternium-15; Perry CS-82-117; Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer; Aloe Vera Gel; FD&C Green No. 3
