Trick-or-treating or guising is a customary practice for children on Halloween in many countries. Children in costumes travel from house to house in order to ask for treats such as candy (or, in some cultures, money) with the question "Trick or treat?". The "trick" is a (usually idle) threat to perform mischief on the homeowners or their property if no treat is given to them.

Is this something you do every year? Are you going this year? Going to take anyone?

I did throughout my whole childhood and now I take my lil one out when I can.
This year I'm taking my lil one out trick or treating. :)

Never take part, Lock the door and turn the lights down so it appears no one is in.

Ehh, I haven't really trick-or-treated in a while. I kinda grew out of it, but I like to see what costumes people come up with. :)

Because I celebrate in my own way and I don't like kids knocking on the door every 5 mins...... That and I don't like kids in general.

I haven't trick-or-treated for over twelve years, nor have I really dressed up as anything. I don't have more than one friend, and we're both older (I'm 28 and he's 30). I don't go to parties either, and I live in a neighborhood where there aren't many kids. There's really no point for me.

Hopefully I can this year. I need to request the day off.

I went trick-or-treating all the time when I was a kid, but I haven't in many years now.
