Never in my life will I see a horse win a Triple Crown.

However, I saw a baseball player named Miguel Cabrera win the Triple Crown once.

The horses were beautiful. What I noticed was how long and lean the legs were on the horses.

Just eliminate the Triple Crown and have a horse racing series with the Triple Crown races (Kentucky, Preakness, Belmont) and its qualifiers.

Instead of the Triple Crown trophy that can be impossible to achieve, toss it in the garbage and start anew with the points standings used in NASCAR.

It isn't impossible.

Just difficult.

And if a horse has been dedicated to only running the last race and is competing against others that have run the two previous, it isn't exactly a measure of how well they race against each other. The Best Horse hasn't won.
