TV Into the 3rd Dimension!

I've heard about this for a while, but it's always nice to see that it is becoming more a reality.
 
If they can figure out a way to make it 3D without me having to wear glasses all the time, I would buy one.

Agreed. Although if it's that crappy pop-out 3D, then screw it.
 
The Avatar 3D movie has done a lot to spark interest in this area. Quality 3D glasses for home viewing are priced at between $100 and $200. However as the technology advances and sells more the prices will drop. I believe that in the next few years we will see lots of living rooms with 3D & Internet enabled TV's.



The strange thing is that although consumer spending has fallen as a result of the recession sales of personal tech gadgets such as iPhones and eReaders have been holding up pretty well.
 
I think i'll keep my current tv thanks
