I think having two admins on a forum can be a great advantage though it can also be a forums demise. Both admins have to have the same goal(s) in mind and also be on the same page when it comes to rules/hiring more staff and posting.
I myself have had bad experiences with having another admin. (I've had someone who I thought was my online friend for years who said they would do all of the coding and behind the scenes stuff and that I was to be the one that was creating the categories, subcategories, the one that was expected to be more of the poster and getting people to the forum. I agreed and after a month of working REALLY hard and getting everything ready to launch the other admin locked me out of the forum and basically ran it himself taking all of the praise for creating the forum. It was so frustrating and infuriating. After that I never really wanted to partner with someone again.
I think I would do it again but I'd definitely be more cautious
