Video Shows Airdropped U.S. Weapons Falling Into ISIS Hands
The weapons depicted — including rocket-propelled grenades — were of U.S. origin, and they were intended for Kurdish fighters. Instead ISIS militants have added them to their already massive stockpile of arms.

Thoughts?

well, all the tanks they have and most of their military equipment is US made anyway, but in this case it is a risk that is taken when parachuting weapons into a war zone. I think that it is more unfortunate than it is incompetent.

There's a limit to the amount of weapons they can actually use. At some point they'll be saturated. Therefore it'd be wise to keep dropping weapons even if 90% of them fall in the wrong hands.

Or not, but this sounds more interesting. 'sides, what Mike said.

Kinda figures that George Bush couldn't even get a supply drop right.

Me thinks' you're one president behind, Doc...:whistle::whistle:

how do we know if that airdrop was "intended" for the kurdish fighters?

after all, isis = al-qaeda = usa/israel created and funded...

the usa gave so much weapons and funds to al-qaeda and the taliban...

isis is israel operated...

al-qaeda is usa operated...

or at least that's what some people believe, but is there some truth to it?

I buy the part where the U.S. funded the Afghan mujahadeen (which then blew up in our faces a/l/a Al-Qaeda)...but Israel funding ISIS? The Israelis' may be some of the most power-hungry, crazy mo-fo's out in that world...but then creating ISIS?

Nah...now the Saudis? I'd be more inclined to believe that they helped build up ISIS than the Israelis..then again, in that part of the world, one's enemy today is usually someone else's friend the next day.

well, the zionist israel hates the rest of the middle east with a passion and wish death upon them all... sounds a bit like isis, no? if israel can't do it legally and under their country due to being accused of war crimes and looked down upon by the un and the world, then wouldn't it be smart to create isis to fulfill their agenda/goals with-out eyes all on israel? makes you think and wonder, no? :|

Problem with that bit of logic is that, if Israel were going to create something like ISIS, they'd want to keep as much control over it as possible..and given that ISIS has said that they wipe everyone off the face of the earth - including Israel - that doesn't make sense. It is akin to someone climbing onto a Bengal tiger and riding it; eventually, you've got to climb down off of the tiger...and guess what's the tiger liable to do in the meantime?

No, in this case, the blame for ISIS lies not w/Israel but with the Saudis' and the rest of the Sunni Arab community, who seem to love playing both sides of the international street.

In theory, one soldier could use an unlimited number of weapons. Given the right cover and firing area, they could just dump whatever weapon they run out of ammo for, and pick up another.

who said that they aren't in control? also, it could be that isis went rogue from who ever was in control... yes, isis said that they'd kill anyone that gets in their way or their beliefs, but have they attacked israel or any other country besides the countries that usa wanted to attack? it looks like isis is on the front line of doing the dirty work for someone... and to rename countries and their borders (again)...
