If you're from the UK, chances are you've been affected by the recent rail strikes which will take place for 3 days (tomorrow being the last day). The strike is over because the union members want an inflation-beating pay increase and job security.

Have you been affected by it? And do you support strikes such as this?

Does it really change anything if they only strike for 3 days?

A local place called John Deer striked last year and they didn't end it till their demands were met. Which it went on for nearly a month and costed the company millions.

It does cause a lot of carnage and disruption, to be fair. Just those 3 days will have cost both the company and the economy millions because people just avoided travelling into certain places.

Yeah, would be too chaotic and once you lose the public support, it's hard to get what you want.
