Unannounced people showing up

How do you feel about people just showing up at your place without letting you know first?

I don't like it at all. I tell people if they don't let me know they are coming over, I will not open that door for them. I always thought it quite rude to just pop on over. I also extend that same courtesy to others & let them know when I am coming over.

Same here. I also find it rude and I won't answer my door either.

Depend on the culture.. i don't really mind that much, i can't guarantee that i'll be available though lol

It happens rarely to me and it's mainly my mother or my grandparents just checking in.

Same here. I also find it rude and I won't answer my door either.

However, I mainly get door to door salesmen asking me if I wanted to buy something. I just say no. If they get pushy. I go grab my pistol and insist that they leave.

That happened a couple of months ago A guy with his wife and a couple of his friends arrived without notice. It was no doubt just a visit but I was not impressed

This is what I do not like the most. It was like being ambushed without knowing it. It is better for them to inform us ahead of time.

Unless it is an emergency situation, no one, no matter how close we are has yhe right to just show up in my house unannounced. I might easily turn you back for that.
